Welcome to our place
Kinglake Ranges Children's Centre is located in a unique rural farmland setting, nestled in the Kinglake Ranges, North of Melbourne, on the traditional lands of the Taungurung people of the Kulin Nations.
We have a strong focus on play-based learning which reconnect children with nature and our community across a range of settings: at the centre, in the bush or in our community.
A childhood to remember
Do you remember your childhood? Here at KRCC we remember ours: many of us had long hours spent exploring and playing outside in the sun and rain. We used sticks, leaves, flowers and mud in our play. We seemed to have time to just be. And boy did we ever have fun!
In todays fast-paced world its easy to become caught up in the rush. But research shows we need to slow down sometimes, to take a mental breather. To reboot.
At KRCC we know the foundations for lifelong success are established in the first 1000 days of life. That academic and career success requires a solid sensory system foundation and that children learn and develop best through play.
So our whole way of being is built around programs that nurture strong, resilient and involved children who are reading for a life of learning. Programs that help make your child's early years, a childhood to remember.
